The Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) conducts policy oriented research on development issues facing Bangladesh and other developing countries. The mission of BIDS is to facilitate informed policy making through analytical research on economic and social issues, dissemination of research findings and knowledge on developmental concerns, and active engagement in apex policy discourse.
