Dr. K.A.S. Murshid, DG, BIDS participated in the annual conference of GReCEST (The Global Research Consortium on Economic Structural Transformation) held this year in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia over 12-13 December. Dr. Murshid moderated the panel on Special Economic Zones where a total of five country papers were presented. In addition, Dr. Murshid presented a paper on Bangladesh’s experience. He later took part in the Steering Committee meeting of GReCest to review membership applications and chart future policy.
