Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) organized a public lecture titled “Renegotiating Patriarchy: Gender, Agency and the Bangladesh Paradox” on Thursday, 2 January 2025, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the BIDS conference room.

Naila Kabeer, Professor of Gender and Development at the Department of International Development, London School of Economics and Political Science presented the public lecture. Dr. Binayak Sen, Director General of BIDS, moderated the session.
