Research Associate (On study leave)
Md. Atiqur Rahman joined BIDS as a Research
Associate in February, 2014. He has completed BSS (Hons.) and MSS in
economics from the University of Dhaka in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
Prior to joining BIDS, he has worked as an Assistant Director at Research
Department in the Bangladesh Bank. He is interested in the
macroeconomic issues, theoretical economics, mathematical economics,
international trade and finance, theoretical and applied econometrics,
development economics and public policies. Also, he is proficient in the
operation of STATA, a widely used statistical software.
