Muktijuddho O Bangabandhu Gobeshona Corner

Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) inaugurated "Muktijuddho O Bangabandhu Gobeshona Corner" on December 22, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Library and Documentation Center of the Institute. This corner has been established to study and research on the life and work of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the history of the Great Liberation War. In this corner, important local and foreign books and pictures about Bangabandhu's biography and liberation war have been added.

Honorable State Minister for Planning Dr. Shamsul Alam was present as the Chief Guest at the inaugural function. Dr. Muntasir Mamun, Bangabandhu Chair, University of Chittagong and Dr. Atiur Rahman, Bangabandhu Chair, University of Dhaka and former Governor, Bangladesh Bank were present as special guests on the occasion. At the end of the inauguration, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of BIDS presided by Dr. Binayak Sen, the Director General of BIDS.

Along with the chief guest and special guests all the researchers and non-researchers of BIDS were present at this inaugural function and discussion meeting.
